What was the highlight of Hostal Madrid Star
Good central location!
Good central location, comfortable, it’s a busy street with nightlife, which we weren’t there for, but was no issue as we couldn’t hear any noise from the room we were in luckily!
The elevator- it was very old fashioned and scary but I think that’s part of the whole building so not really the hostal’s fault! A bit expensive for what you get!

comfortable stay excellent staff
location and customer service
elevator and bars are very dusty, not good with people with allergies. the room green wall is very much outdated, could use a repaint. Bed skirt is also outdated.

clean and convenient
close to restaurant and shops spacious and clean room very comfortable bed
when we arrived the room had a smell of cigarettes which wasn’t very pleasant. But quickly disappear after we opened the window can be a bit noisy when other guests arrive or leave the property.
